Working principle of reciprocating compressor

 

A reciprocating compressor, also known as a piston compressor. The working chamber of the compressor is the cylinder. The piston undergoes up and down reciprocating motion within the cylinder, completing processes such as compression, exhaust, expansion, and suction. The four processes in Figure 1 represent the four processes in the second operation of compressor
