Piston compressor

When the piston moves to the right, the pressure in the left chamber of the piston in the cylinder is lower than atmospheric pressure, and the suction valve opens, allowing outside air to enter the cylinder. This process is called the "suction process". When the piston moves to the left, the gas inside the cylinder is compressed, and this process is called the "compression process". When the pressure inside the cylinder is higher than the pressure inside the output pipeline, the exhaust valve is opened and compressed air is delivered into the pipeline. This process is called the "exhaust process" 1.
