BEAN20260813 Venezuela Export Cold Storage Project Case Study
1. Project Overview
Project No. BEAN20260813, located in Venezuela. Two -18°C low-temperature freezer rooms (one main, one auxiliary) are built to meet long-term storage and zoned management of frozen goods. The power supply is customized to 220V/60Hz per the local grid; Cold Room 2 is a single-phase 220V/60Hz integrated unit. The project is an export-oriented prefabricated polyurethane cold storage facility with a modular color-steel polyurethane insulated panel structure; all materials, units, electrical controls and accessories are supplied to overseas export standards, balancing insulation, moisture and condensation resistance and suitability for the hot and humid climate, with easy installation and simple maintenance.
2. Technical Solutions
Cold Room 1 (Main): Internal dimensions 9.3 × 4.8 × 2.7 m, design temperature -18°C. Double-sided color-steel polyurethane insulated panels (0.386 mm steel sheet, closed-cell foam) with eccentric hook-lock jointing; floor of 0.5 mm color-steel polyurethane sandwich panels + waterproofing layer + SBS membrane for multi-layer moisture protection; hand-pulled sliding door 800 × 1800 mm with anti-condensation heating wire and rounded aluminum corner trims; refrigeration adopts America Copeland compressors with ceiling-mounted unit coolers, customized for 220V/60Hz; independent control box and 2 waterproof, moisture-proof lights.
Cold Room 2 (Auxiliary): Internal dimensions 3 × 3 × 2.2 m, design temperature -18°C. 100 mm polyurethane insulated panels; 3 mm embossed aluminum floor; hand-pulled door 900 × 2000 mm; single-phase 220V/60Hz integrated unit, highly integrated and easy to install; complete accessories including lights.
3. Design Highlights
All equipment customized for 220V/60Hz without additional transformer; SBS waterproof composite floor + door heating wires address moisture ingress and condensation/frosting; modular assembly without on-site foaming, easy transport and installation; America Copeland compressors have strong load capacity at high temperature, and the two rooms run on independent refrigeration systems without interference; waterproof, moisture-proof and explosion-proof lights and a control box integrating temperature control/high-low pressure protection/defrost automatically maintain -18°C.
4. Delivery and Implementation
Complete set export supply with installation drawings, wiring diagrams and operation manuals. Construction sequence: site leveling → floor waterproofing and SBS → floor panel installation → wall and ceiling panel assembly → rounded aluminum edging → door installation and wiring → unit hoisting and copper pipe welding → control wiring and light installation → evacuation and refrigerant charging → power-on commissioning. Acceptance criteria: stable -18°C in the room; normal start/stop, defrost and door heating functions; no obvious cold loss or abnormal condensation.
5. Value Summary
The combination of two independent -18°C freezer rooms fits the zoned storage needs, with reinforced moisture and condensation resistance design, providing a stable low-temperature storage environment, reducing goods spoilage and improving local cold-chain capacity, while accumulating mature design and supply experience for similar overseas small freezer projects.
